These terms cover your use of the Moedim mobile app and the optional Moedim Plus subscription. They are meant to be read, so they are short.
The app
Moedim is a Hebrew-calendar companion: it shows the civil and Hebrew dates together, what is recorded for each day, and a calendar for your own events, tasks and reminders. You may use it on any device you own, for as long as you like. The calendar, the day views, your own events and reminders, and the daily notification are free and will remain so.
Moedim Plus
Moedim Plus is an optional subscription that adds the verse of the day, the weekly Pray for Israel prompt, and the Feasts & Prophecy essays. It costs US$1.99 per year (or the equivalent in your local currency) after a one-month free trial for new subscribers.
The subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is taken by Google Play or Apple’s App Store, not by us, and your subscription is managed in your store account settings — that is also where you cancel, at any time, keeping access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled under the policy of whichever store you purchased from.
About the content
Moedim gathers what the Scriptures, the Jewish tradition, the classical Gospel harmonies, and the historical record say about each day, and names the source for each entry. Sources disagree with one another, dates in antiquity are often uncertain, and traditions differ between communities. The app presents this material for study and reflection; it is not a ruling on religious practice, and it does not replace your own reading or the counsel of your community. Calendar calculations are computed by the app and, while carefully tested, are offered without warranty of accuracy for ritual or legal purposes.
Your own content
The events, tasks and notes you create are yours. They are stored on your device, we never receive them, and we claim no rights over them. Keeping them backed up is up to you — uninstalling the app deletes them permanently.
Fair use
Please do not attempt to decompile, resell, or redistribute the app or its content, or use it to break the law. Beyond that, use it however serves you.
Warranty and liability
Moedim is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of error or always available, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from its use. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer law of your own country, which apply regardless of anything written above.
Changes
If these terms change, the new text will be posted at this address with the date above refreshed, and any change that materially affects subscribers will be noted in the app.
